Divine Ecstasy
Inspired by the Bernini sculpture ‘The Ecstasy of Saint Teresa’ and represents a moment of divine ecstasy experienced by the 15th Century nun Teresa. She describes her ecstasy as: “I saw in his hand a long spear of gold, and at the iron’s point there seemed to be a little fire. He appeared to me to be thrusting it at times into my heart, and to pierce my very entrails… The pain was so great, that it made me moan; and yet so surpassing was the sweetness of this excessive pain, that I could not wish to be rid of it” Saint Teresa.
How it is made:
The metal is solid brass plated with silver that forms the solid base of the object for the necessary weight and quality. The finish is done by hand. Its sterling silver plating is approx. 10 microns thick applied with electroplating, this is a superior thickness.

Weight: Approx. 275 grams.
Easy to clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, do not rub to avoid scratching.

Please be aware that due to customs restrictions items made of genuine exotic skin (croc/pyhton/lizard) or wood cannot be shipped outside the European Union. For Australia items made of feathers are also excluded.

We ship in neutral shipping boxes, sender is Exorior Added Value B.V., not Xenses, we use neutral descriptions as much as possible for customs, and the invoice is not included in the parcel. Please be aware that international shipments might be subject to rare customs inspections, we have no control over this.
